Advani Demands Law to Retrieve Black Money from Swiss Banks

Legal News India: Senior BJP leader, Lal Krishna Advani asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to enact a law for retrieving the black money made by Indians from Swiss banks. Advani said that the PM should take some firm steps to ensure that Rs. 20 lakh crore, which has been deposited in Swiss banks, must be brought back to the country.

“A shocking report published by Global Financial Transparency said that India's Rs 20.85 lakh crore have been deposited with Swiss Banks. We have even written a letter to the Prime Minister in this regard. But we have not received a reply so far,” said Advani at the NDA rally held against corruption and inflation.
