 India Legal News: In the past one week, honorable judges, a total of 8, were appointed across in High Courts in three states.

2 Additional Judges Appointed to the Kerala High Court

The President appointed (1) Shri Babu Mathew P. Joseph and (2) Shri Ambazhavelil Velayudhan Pillai Ramakrishna Pillai to be Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective office.

Additional Judge Appointed to the Himachal Pradesh High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Dharam Chand Chaudhary as an Additional Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

5 Judges Appointed to the Andhra Pradesh High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Justice Nadimpalli Rama Linga Nageswara Rao, (2) Shri Justice Ponnuru Durga Prasad, (3) Shri Justice Kallakuri Girija Shankar, (4) Shri Justice Nyshadham Ravi Shankar, and (5) Shri Justice Vegi Suri Appa Rao, Additional Judges, as Judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority.
