Claim for maintenance from daughter in Law

Is there provision or obligation in Maintenance Law, Can Mother in Law claim for maintenance from her daughter in Law if she is only earning and neglecting to maintain her Mother In Law, I know there is no provision, but on humanity ground she is entitled

This is an interesting question. As you have rightly pointed out, there are no mandatory provisions but based on the technical details of the case and on humanitarian grounds, the court may hold differently but again, this is a faint possibility as it depends on peculiar circumstances in which such a claim is made in the first place.
