Delhi High Court Orders To Tighten Leash On Public Drinkers
India Legal News: A Delhi High Court has ordered local police to enforce the ban on drinking in public places that offenders continue to flout. Taking a grim view of public drinking and
accidents resulting to more law and order problems, division bench comprising of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Sanjiv Khanna have ordered to book offenders strictly. By 2020 road traffic related injuries and deaths will contribute to a worldwide burden of disease and injury, a study predicts.
