Delhi Traffic Police Urge Motor Vehicle Drivers To Carry Complete Documents

India Legal News: Amidst growing growing complaints by commoners of alleged misbehavior by policemen especially on women, the Delhi Traffic Police department has issued a circular to tab
unwarranted behavior on the same. The notice reiterates that citizens driving in Delhi roads should definitely 1) carry DL (Driving Licence) in original, 2) Registration Certificate (Xerox Copy),3) Insurance Certificate (Xerox Copy) and 4) PUC Certificate (orginal).
The Notice also requests policemen to implement laws on senior citizens and women after dark, considering obvious safety and security issues in NCR region.
There are over 70 general traffic offense and the penalties (Most of them range between Rs 100 to Rs.1000 and not more as popular perception grows).
