Dear sir/ma'm,
After two years of our marriage Both of us want to take divorce on grounds of mutual consent. Both of us living seperate for last two months. As i read we have to live seperate for 1 yr. for mutual divorce. So i want to know whether we have to inform court after this one year period of seperation or before statring of this period. What is the procedure basically for this.

in the petition you can mention about this separation period for 1 year
yes in your application you can mention that , both of you were living separate from last 1 year
You can file the petition only after living separably for 1 year or more. You have to mention it in the petition. Thereafter, the petition will be considered after another 6 months and if there is no change in the decision with respect to both of you, the court, if satisfied that there is sufficient ground, it will pass an order dissolving your marriage.
you have to show that both of you r living separate since last 1 year for mutual divorce. otherwise file contested divorce matter and on ground of admission of facts by any 1 party u will get divorce.
