Legal News India: The ninth anniversary of the Parliament attack witnessed the Government and the Opposition party disputing over terrorist Afzal Guru’s death sentence. BJP leader Sushma Swaraj questioned the government about why Guru was not hanged despite SC’s confirming his punishment. She further asserted that government should execute the sentence so that the family members of the victims and the entire country will feel relieved.
Home Minister P. Chidambaram said that he did not wish to get involved in disputes as December 13 was a day when nine people became victim to the terrorist attack in 2001.
