HRD Ministry’s Proposed Legal Education Plan Is Backed By Academicians

Indian Legal News: The Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry's decision to include legal education within the ambit of higher education has takers. A panel of academicians has reportedly backed Kapil Sibal’s plan for legal education.

The panel was set up in 2009 by the HRD ministry, that is headed by NR Madhava Menon- Founder, National University of Judicial Sciences, Calcutta. Sibal’s role in implementing legal education is crucial since the law ministry has already voiced its concerns regarding handing over the control of legal education to the Bar Council of India.

The Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry's decision to include legal education in the syllabus of higher education is very good as students who want to pursue their carrer in judiciary or any other legal field find it very difficult to gain proper knowledge about the courses available and also hezitate to choose it as a carrer as they are not fully aware of the indian law.

Between NR Madhava Menon- Founder, National University of Judicial Sciences, Calcutta and Sibal, I believe that Sibal’s role in implementing legal education would be of paramount importantance because of his inside and in depth knowledge of the challenges for improvement within the community of lawyers. He's a fantastic innovator too with out-of-the-box perspective, though he's come under heavy criticism for several initiatives.

This is the good decission frm ministry of HRD.Legal education is mandatory to all citizen of India to become perfect Surely this may reduce the cORRUPTION
