Islamic Extremists Find Samosas Offensive

The Islamic extremists in Somalia have been offended by samosas. Locally known as sambusas, this snack has been banned in the districts around the capital Mogadishu, Somalia. The Islamist extremist group, Al-Shabaab, propagated the bizarre command in vehicles fitted with loudspeakers across the Afgoye district.
The unexpected move by the Islamic extremist implies that Somalis could now be punished if they are caught cooking, buying or eating samosas. Militants refused to comment on the reason for this ban but insisted that the dish was anti–Islam.
Later, it was assumed that the triangular snack was perceived as the symbol of the Christian Holy Trinity.
Therefore, it was assumed that the snack is too Christian to be sold in the militant dominated regions around the capital. Another reason offered for the ban was that the traders stuffed rotten meat of animals that died in the famine, and in some cases, even cat meat. The US estimates that over 90,000 children below five years have died in the last three months in South Somalia.

I think the news is planted by those traders involving in stuffing rotten meat of animals that died in the famine, and in some cases, even cat meat. There is nothing in Islam to that prohibits anything triangular. The reason of the ban must be the other one reported that the traders stuffed rotten meat of animals that died in the famine, and in some cases, even cat meat.
