Justice Shivraj V Patil – New Lokayukta of Karnataka

 India Legal News: Justice Shivraj V Patil, 71 will replace Justice N Santosh Hegde as the new Lokayukta of Karnataka. The change is a routine shift and it has nothing to do with the mining report which Justice Hegde will submit on August -2, reports say. Justice Hegde resigned from his position in June, 2010. Justice Patil was heading the probe of 2G spectrum and various grant of telecom licences allocation that took place between 2001-2009. Justice Patil was born on 1940 and started his legal career in 1962.
