Law Entrance: Law Education Redefined at the National Law School

The National Law School of Indian University (NLSIU) is one of the best known law schools in the country for law education. A candidate who has cleared Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination, with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC/Disabled) shall be eligible to take the exam. The age limit is minimum 20 years (22 years for SC/ST/Disabled) to appear in the exam.

To appear in the law entrance exam for the LL.M programme, you shall hold a LL.B/B.L. degree, with at least 55 percent of marks (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC/Disabled).

The CLAT exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams to crack. The difficulty standard for this law entrance exam is often compared to the IAS exam.
