Respected Sir,
I want to know if any person got fatal while passing the road in heavy traffic without zebra crossing & vehicle owner has got complete comprehensive insurance at the time of accident & got the valid license at the time of accident.
According to indian law is some liability of compensation will need to bear by vehicle owner ?
If in vehicle inspection report by I.O says that at the time of accident condition of brakes was (Perfect) & Handel bar was (Perfect).
Hon" court approve good amount of compensation to accident victim family. But Insurance company said that compensation amount is too high, so that some amount of compensation has to bear by vehicle owner. Is insurance company has got rite to say ? However vehicle has got comprehensive insurance at the time of accident & got the valid license at the time of accident. which is verified by insurance company.

no not at all, if you have everything perfectly all right then owner is not at all liable to pay any money only insurance company will satisfy the award. Only ting you got to take care is that you contest the MACT case thoroughly. In this lots of SC rulings are there to help you out.
I agree with Rupendru. In case of a comprehensive insurance the liability has to be fastened to the insurance company.
