Property Dispute

Hi,

I did buy a land of 10 acres a couple of years back from a vendor who obtained the land from villagers 40 years back. However, the villagers are claiming and complaining about the land . I do have the registration papers. what are the risks involved in double registrations or disputes of this kind of nature. Please let me know if additional details are needed.
