Property inheritence

My father has three sisters. All are married. All are in their in-Laws house. When they were married, all the expenses were borned by my father. After almost 20-24 years passed, my father has remodelled the house to a new one. Now at present my father and we two son and my mother is staying in this home.
Somedays before we came to know that my fathers sisters can claim over the property (home).
Is that true? Will they be legible to get any share from this house?

If the property is ancestral and it was not your father's self acquired then your aunt(father's sister) can claim the their share of property as the Hindu succession amended in 2005.Otherwise it was self acquired your father then they can not claim.-----------------------Minansu Bhadra,Advocate

look if the property is self acquired then share of property take place according to your father WILL.
and if the property is ancestral then everybody has predetermined share in property.........
so if they said , then they can claim only in ancestral property... if they goes to court......
but court will also look into the investment done by your father in property and also in marriage....while determining the share of property....
