Self Immolation Case: 27-Year-Old Attempts Suicide

Legal News India: A 27-year-old youth, Rajesh, supposedly attempted suicide in Delhi today, reported fire brigade officials. This incident occurred in the Bengali market. “Rajesh poured some inflammable liquid and set himself on fire. His brother Rajiv tried to save him but suffered burn injuries in the process,” elaborated the officials.

Rajesh has suffered about 85% burns while Rajiv suffered about 20% injuries. Both the brothers were “rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where they are undergoing treatment," reported the officials. The reason for the attempted self immolation is not clear.
