Supreme Court Issues Notice to CVC Thomas

India Legal News: The SC, on December 6, issued notices to CVC PJ Thomas and the Centre, on a plea challenging his appointment to the key post. The apex court will hear the case on January 27, 2011.

Thomas is facing corruption charges on the palmoline oil import scam which took place when he was the Food and Civil Supplies secretary of Kerala. He was also the telecom secretary when the 2G spectrum scam happened.
