The Contract Act: The Concept of a Quasi Contract

The formation and validity of a contract in India is regulated by the Indian Contract Act, 1872. The Act extends to whole of India, except for Jammu and Kashmir. A contract can be explained as, an agreement enforced by law. For an agreement to be legally enforceable, it must constitute a clear offer and acceptance of the offer, by an offeree.
