Injunction: An Equitable Legal Remedy

Section 36 to 42 of the Specific Relief Act, 1963, contains provisions for injunction. Injunction is equitable remedy issued by courts of equity as court orders, and which directs a person towards or prohibits them from acting in a certain way. An Injunction is a private law remedy, which can also be used in public law area.
