Indian law places utmost importance on evidence. Ocular evidence is an oral testimony pertaining to a crime as seen and stated by an eye witness before a court of law. On the other hand, medical evidence is given by medical experts, such as doctors. Sometimes during legal trials, there can be conflict between medical evidence and ocular evidence, regarding the murder weapon that is used.
