Why Some Films Get “A” Certification

Is censorship of films in India justified? Under the Constitution of India, every citizen has the freedom of speech and expression. Artists express it in their art, writers in their writings and film makers in their films. The logic is that films influence a staggering number of youths, draw a higher degree of public attention than any other medium and has a lasting impact on the thought process of a large section of the society.
