Crime against women in Cambodia is on the rise, which is evident from police reports and data gathered by several Non-government Organizations. However, due to inefficiency in the crime monitoring system, the true extent of the situation is yet to be acknowledged. What is sadder is the fact that the rape victims are being denied justice on a large extent. Loopholes in the judiciary system enable perpetrators to escape punishment without any efforts.
