In May 2000, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) was created by the FBI, and the national White Collar Crime Center, which is basically a Congress-funded, non-profit organization. It functions as a comprehensive repository of complaints pertaining to Internet fraud and trends relating to it.
