Threat of a suicide as a blackmail and to implicate as an abettor

When a woman blackmails a person that she would commit suicide and leave a note implicating the person for abetment of suicide, what is position of the person so blackmailed in the eyes of law? Whether he will be criminally liable?

Yes he will be liable. Presumption would be that you compelled her to do so.
