Three Bills Presented in the Lok Sabha

 India Legal News: The Government has presented three bills in the Lok Sabha early this week.

The Prevention of Money Laundering (Amendment) Bill, 2011, was presented by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, seeks to strengthen the relevant Act of 2002 by amending some of its provisions.

The Electronic Delivery of Services Bill, 2011 was introduced by Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal. It seeks to provide for electronic delivery of public services by the government to ensure transparency, efficiency, accountability, accessibility and reliability in the delivery of these services.

The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 2011 is meant to further amend the relevant legislation of 1950 to modify the list of Scheduled Tribes in Karnataka. It was introduced by Tribal Affairs and Panchayati Raj Minister V. Kishore Chandra Deo.
