Appointment of Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Jora Singh, Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, to be a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
Appointment of Judges of Calcutta High Court
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Smt. Shukla Kabir (Sinha) (2) Shri Ashoke Kumar Dasadhikari, and (3) Dr.Sambuddha Chakrabarti to be Judges of the Calcutta High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
Appointment of Additional Judges of Madhya Pradesh High Court
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Smt.Vimla Jain and (2) Shri Mohammad Anwar Siddiqui, to be Additional Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
Transfer of Judges of High Courts
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer (i) Shri Justice Arun Kumar Mishra, Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court and (ii) Shri Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Judge of the Gauhati High Court, as a Judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices on or before 14th September,2010.
